L194 Pill (Famotidine) White Round 8mm

L194 Pill (Famotidine) blocks the release of stomach acid mediated by the messenger histamine. Normally, histamine binds to special binding sites in the stomach lining, causing the release of stomach acid. Famotidine helps prevent this by removing the messenger substance from its binding sites. This medicine is used when too much stomach acid is produced or if there is an ulcer in the gastrointestinal tract.
