Tradea is a drug whose active ingredient is methylphenidate, used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
This drug belongs to the group of drugs called central nervous system (CNS) stimulants.
Tradea is also used to treat narcolepsy (an uncontrollable desire to sleep or a sudden attack of deep sleep).
Tradea works to treat ADHD by increasing attention and reducing restlessness in children and adults who are overactive, cannot concentrate for very long, or are easily distracted and impulsive.

Things To Pay Attention
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have or have had the following health problems:

You should not use this medicine if you are taking or have used a depression medicine called an MAO inhibitor (MAOI), such as Marplan®, Nardil, Eldepryl® or Parnate®, in the past 14 days.

Tradea can cause serious heart or blood vessel problems in some cases.
